Caminhos Cruzados Winery

The Caminhos Cruzados winery is located in the Dão, specifically Nelas (the Beira Alta region in North/Central Portugal). Sheltered by the mountains of Caramulo, Montemuro, Buçaco and Estrela, this region enjoys excellent geographical conditions for winemaking.

Titular is a line of wines that reflects the focus of Paulo Santos, founder of Caminhos Cruzados: “We leave in our lands stories of generations which give us back the hope that wine will again be the bearer of many good news.”

According to legend, a galo (rooster) once saved a condemned man in Barcelos, a town found in the Vinho Verde wine region. Pena de Galo is a tribute to the history and traditions of this region.
